In this episode we introduce the Oklahoma City Podcast and explain that we want to focus on Oklahoma City, the surrounding area, and what is happening across the state. We also share our background, including growing up in Oklahoma, living for years in Washington, and later moving back to Oklahoma, with a focus on how that changed our perspective. We talk about why Edmond became the right fit for us, our work in mortgage lending, and how Oklahoma real estate differs from larger markets. We also discuss what we value about Oklahoma City, including its people, downtown development, local landmarks, food culture, and community events, and we close with a roundup of upcoming events in the area.
